CJ20N is a transaction code in SAP Project System to access Project Builder function. Alternatively, the Project Builder can be accessed through this path:
SAP Easy Access → Accounting → Project System → Project → Project Builder.
Project System is an SAP module that have found very effective tool for project monitoring especially for companies in the Real Estate and Construction industry. This solution can be used in projects from planning, execution and closing, both for time and cost aspects of the projects. It is fully integrated with the other modules such as, Financial Accounting, Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Real Estate Sales and Production Planning. Project system has a lot of functionalities, one of those is the Project Builder.
The Project Builder is a single screen that allows you to access various PS functions. When you access the Project Builder, this screen appears:
The screen contains 3 main parts; Structure Tree, Worklist and Templates and Work Area.
- The Structure Tree, display the project definition, wbs, networks and activities in hierarchical manner.
- The Worklist and Templates, contain available worklist and templates existing that can be copied or can be used as reference when creating new projects.
- Work Area, display the detailed information of project definition, wbs, networks and activities.
From the Project Builder screen, you can navigate almost all the PS functions, from creation of project, setting of budget, allocation of materials, and etc.
