What’s the difference between multiple logons and multiple sessions in SAP system?
This is a tip for you!
Multiple logons and multiple sessions are the two ways to open two or more SAP systems. Mutiple logons actually creates a new logon for the user. Meaning, to open another SAP system in your computer, you must enter your username and your password. If you do this, the system displays a warning message that offers the user with the following options:
a. Continue this logon and end any other logons
b. Continue with this logon without ending any other logons
c. Terminate this logon.
Using multiple sessions allows the user to open several windows at the same time on the same computer and using the same username. The system administrator can use a system parameter to define the number of sessions permissible for each logon to the SAP system.
